Brand Overview

Rippl Impact Gear designs premium impact and comfort shorts and various other products built for snowboarders, motorbikers, and action-sport enthusiasts.

When we first started working together, the brand operated mainly during the winter season and had limited backend systems in place. Over time, as their product line expanded and demand grew across new markets, our goal was to build a retention strategy that could perform year-round while staying authentic to their community-driven brand voice.

Our Approach

We started by setting up the entire retention foundation:

  • Built all core flows, including Welcome, Abandoned Cart, Post-Purchase, and Win-Back

  • Created a seasonal campaign calendar aligned with their winter product cycles and expanded into summer product pushes

  • Added SMS automation and campaign flows for faster conversions during launches

  • Introduced segmentation and testing to tailor messaging for different audiences (snowboarders vs moto riders)

  • Designed pop-ups to grow the list and improve lead quality

As Rippl expanded its audience, we continuously refined campaign timing, product storytelling, and seasonal transitions to keep engagement consistent throughout the year.

Results

What began as a seasonal store has grown into a year-round eCommerce brand generating millions in sales every year, with email and SMS as key revenue pillars.

Email now contributes roughly one-fifth to one-quarter of total store revenue every year, supported by strong engagement and repeat-purchase rates.

Year over year, total revenue and attributed email revenue have grown by several multiples, and 2025 is already shaping up to be their biggest year yet.
